Rose De Mai
Sylvie Chantecaille’s love of nature and flowers led her to create a luxurious, high quality brand based on floral ingredients that are both natural and healthy.
When Sylvie discovered a beautiful field of flowers of Rose de Mai in Provence, France, she was immediately inspired to create a line of products based on the gently fragrant flowers of this exceptional Rose. She was also motivated by medical groundbreaking research on the impact of flower cells on the body.
Today Pure Rose Water is the base of all Chantecaille skincare as well as one of the most extraordinary anti-aging secrets in the world.
Making Pure Rosewater
Rose de Mai blooms only once a year in May, from which it derives its name. The flowers are then distilled in the purest artesian well water to produce a naturally healing, moisturizing and uplifting Pure Rosewater.
Rosewater has been known to cure a multitude of health problems, including insect bites, inflammation, sunburn, etc. Ancient Romans not only drank Rosewater but also bathed in it, benefiting from its anti-aging and cooling qualities.
